Editorial Process
If you have submitted your manuscript to the CvSU Research Journal but you have not yet received a final decision, you can check its status online.
About the editorial process:
As the editing process involves many steps, in some cases this may take longer than expected. Editors must identify, invite, and secure (often two or more) reviewers to accept an audit. These reviewers need sufficient time to thoroughly review your manuscript. Ultimately, editors must evaluate these ratings and make a decision. In particular, the "Under Review" status comprises many steps; While it may appear that your manuscript is not going through the editorial process, many activities can take place during this part of the review process.
The Journal conducts a double-blind review process where both the authors and reviewers are unknown to each other. The identities of the authors and reviewers shall only be known to the Editor.
More information on the statuses you're likely to see in your dashboard can be the following:
FOR APPROVAL You have completed the submission steps and the article has been submitted to the journal.
FOR REVIEW As soon as an article is assigned to a journal editor for editing, it receives a unique manuscript number. For most journals, the manuscript number will be emailed to you (when available). Some journals have multiple levels of publishers. Each editor performs an initial evaluation before moving on to the next editor in the chain. The state remains with the processor until a processor invites reviewers..
ACCEPTED FOR REVIEW Reviewers have been invited and the peer review process is ongoing. There are several factors that affect the time it takes to review, most notably the availability of article reviewers. The time in each peer review varies by journal. Please note that once the full reviews of your submitted article have been received and rated by the editor-in-charge, the status may later be reset to "Under Review" if additional reviews are requested.
Accepted with Minor Revisions- The Editor has made a decision and requested you to revise your submission with minor changes. . Accepted with Major Revisions- the Editor has made a decision and requested you to revise your submission with major changes that may be in line with its grammar accuracy, formatting, impact factor, and or organization of the body.
REJECTED- the Editor has made a decision to reject your paper. Feedback on as to why the Editor came up with such will be provided in the feedback.
COMPLETED- the editor has made a final "Accept" and the paper will be sent to the production. At this point, the status of your article changes to "Completed" and no further changes can be made in the Submission Portal.
